Salt-water pools: what they are and why people choose them
More and more pools on the Costa Blanca are fitted with a salt chlorinator: a unit that uses electrolysis to turn the salt dissolved in the water into the chlorine needed to disinfect it, automatically and continuously. The result is water that feels much gentler on skin and eyes, without that familiar chlorine smell and with far less hands-on chemical dosing.
